Mainly distributed in Asia, some species of Prosopocoilus in Africa. Specimens of this genus can reach up to 11 cm, Prosopocoilus giraffa keisukei from Flores (Indonesia) is the biggest stagbeetle of the world.
The genus Cyclommatus includes beautiful metallic colored species, a lot of bigger species can be found in Borneo. Big males of Cyclommatus elaphus from Sumatra measure up to 10,5 cm.
